The Indy Convergence is making its producing debut in a collaboration with New York based Pantea Productions at the 2016 Indy Fringe Festival. The companies will produce Silken Veils, a breathtaking show that combines Rumi poetry, puppetry, and animation. In Silken Veils love, tragedy, and humor collide when Iranian émigré and bride-to-be, Darya, flees her wedding, while having flashbacks to her childhood during the Iranian Revolution, questioning: Is love worth the risk? Created in 2010 by Iranian-American artist Leila Ghaznavi, it won 5 Stars at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was called "Magical & Enchanting" by The Scotsmen.
