B-town indie rockers Good Luck and Washington D.C.'s Spoonboy brought some rollicking tunes, occasionally embellished with intricate tapping fretwork. The tunes induced some mild head-banging and bobbing; it didn't get too rowdy at The Melody Inn. The show was opened by local singer-songwriter Kara Beth Rasure, whose quiet and haunting vocals and guitar picking created some kind of mesmerizing trance.
