Get on the climate change bus to Chicago - for free! 9 a.m. - 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8, 2013

This summer, President Obama committed the U.S. to be a global leader on curbing climate disruption and proposed that we start by limiting carbon pollution from power plants. Currently, there are no limits on the amount of carbon pollution spewed into the air by power plants. It's time to change that.

The EPA is hosting listening sessions to gauge support for taking action to limit carbon pollution from power plants. One of these sessions is in Chicago on November 8. There will be strong opposition to these new limits from the fossil fuel industry, so we need your help to show strong support for bold action to address climate disruption.

FREE Transportation from Indianapolis and meals will be provided. Our very own Mary Anne Hitt will be joining Hoosiers as we trek up to Chicago from Indianapolis. The Indianapolis bus will depart from the Indiana Interchurch Center, 1100 West 42nd Street, early on Friday morning by 9:00 am.
