Daredevil is offering visitors to their Speedway-based brewery and taproom “a very fun line up of our Pale Ales, German Lagers, Belgians and Nitro Lift Off IPA this weekend. Our new beer this weekend and a summer limited release is Whimsy Summer Saison, a refreshing, crisp table saison. Amarillo Hops and Blood Orange concentrate are paired with a classic French Saison fermentation to produce a highly drinkable summer beer with spicy, peppery and citrus aromas and flavors. Easy to enjoy at ABV: 5.0% and IBU: 25”

Flat 12 may be on the other side of town but they lay claim to ‘the Mayor’—James Hinchcliffe—with their collaboration Hinchtown Hammerdown —“It’s smooth, drinkable, and goes down fast— the perfect beer for a day at the track” or maybe to enjoy while you’re reading this story in Food & Wine magazine:

Upland Brewing Co. is releasing Petal to the Kettle in early June on draught throughout their distribution area as part of the Side Trail Series. It will be on tap at Upland pubs and tap rooms starting June 10. The description reads: Pours a beautiful pinkish purple reminiscent of the inside of a ripe grapefruit. The aroma is of tart strawberries, lemon and grapefruit with floral notes of rose and hibiscus. The flavor has a distinctly tart grapefruit character supported by peach, strawberry, and delicate hints of floral perfume. [ABV: 6% IBU: 5]

TwoDEEP released Sloppy in Turn #3 Summer Ale “in time for race-mania to kick in. Its name was inspired by our team's love of the Speedway infield festivities and the snake pit's beaming reputation. Sloppy in Turn #3 Summer Ale is a rich, full-bodied golden ale with a light orange aroma, velvety smooth mouthfeel and a boost of citrus. This Ale crosses the finish line clean and dry. ABV: 6.3%, IBU: 24.0”

TwoDEEP’s 4-pk can packs in the TapRoom include: KnightStick Cream Ale, Red Sunday Irish Red Ale, Brickhouse Roasted Amber Ale and the Lake IPA. They advise, “ Go get malty at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway” to underscore Two DEEP’s distinction as brewers of malt-centric styles.
