Springfest in Muncie this weekend




This year's Springfest will be held at the Waterbowl on SR 3 in Muncie, Indiana from April 16th-18th. The three-day festival will host bands from all over the country including Great American Taxi, Papadosio, Particle, Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, MC Sparkplug, Catch Curtis, and many more. The event is being presented by by Covert Operations and Herm Productions with several food, merchandise, and service vendors.

There will be three stages set up throughout the site complete with an LED light show, an arts-and-crafts zone, a music market area, fire dancers, drum circles, large art installations, and on-site tree planting. Parking and camping are free with ticket purchase.

Indianapolis boasts heavy representation on the festival bill by local legends such as The Twin Cats, The Mudkids, The Rich Hardesty Band, Waldemere Revival, Max Allen Band, and The Post Script.

Lovers of live music have been counting down to the kick off of music festival season since 2010 began. It’s finally time to grab your friends and camping gear for a weekend full of live music and good vibes- two things that are always guaranteed at The Waterbowl.
