Storytelling Arts: Go Tell It on the Mountain

Presented in partnership with the living history museum Freetown Village, Go Tell It on the Mountain will find Kim and Reggie Harris bringing together traditional American and African folk songs, Negro spirituals and storytelling, with the goal of illuminating key moments in African-American history, from the Underground Railroad to the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. No Depression said the Harrises perform “with an exuberance and festivity impossible to resist.”
