Holding the Space: Paintings by Yolanda Sánchez Sánchez strives to engage the viewer in a natural sensory experience nudging the viewer into a deeper experience of the present. These paintings are loosely based on the idea of a garden. The Infinite Moment of Now: A Fabric and Sound Installation by Stephanie Lewis Robertson When confronted with her husband’s life-altering stroke, the artist made the choice to ask her communities for prayers and support to begin the healing process. Explore the spiritual mystery, hope and love that transformed all of their lives. Stand: An Installation by P. L. Deaton Using primitive sculpting methods, Deaton seeks to unearth primordial connections revealing hidden aspects of our ancestors within us while exploring the connection of all life as one family. Presence / Absence: Paintings by Sergio Gomez and Mark Zlotkowski This exhibition hopes to encourage its audience to a deeper understanding of their own visible and invisible experiences. Wallflowers: Ceramic Installation by Melissa Parrott Quimby (June 3 – July 24, 2011) Wallflowers is an imaginary landscape of botanical forms made by combining shapes and textures in clay.
