"Indianapolis is quickly becoming a leader in bicycle friendliness. In the few years I have lived here, I have seen more bike lanes and trails being built & more hard work and sweat being put into advocacy than in any other city I've ever lived. Riding your bike to work for one day is not only great for the environment, but it saves you money and is excellent for your overall health. In this class we will learn about the basics of commuting by bike, routes, gear to commute comfortably in any weather, basic bicycle maintenance, long-distance biking trips. Anyone can become a bicycling commuter!"
