"Publishing books—traditionally or through self-publishing—requires tremendous marketing. In today’s world, building your platform and most of the marketing tasks falls to the author. It’s never too early or too late to start marketing your next book. We will cover many tried and true marketing avenues as well as a few back road options. Just a few of the topics we’ll discuss include creating your own tribe and keeping them in the loop, non-negotiables such as websites, business cards, and social media presence, using street teams to launch your next book and time saving methods such as SM aggregators, editorial calendars, etc. Bring a pen and a paper."
