When: Every third Wednesday, 6-8 p.m.
The Traditional Storytelling Guild provides serious / professional storytellers, actors and public speakers a public forum for working on the research, development and telling of Traditional Stories (folktales, fairytales, myths, legends, tall tales, literary fiction) as opposed to personal, life stories.
Members usually tell short, traditional stories and then receive constructive feedback from the group. Storytellers do not memorize or recite stories word-for-word, rather, stories are recalled. Beginners are encouraged to work without notes or transcripts.
The teller may specify the degree of feedback desired. Facilitated by professional storyteller, public speaking coach, Ken Oguss.
