In this two-session class, participants will learn the history, styles, and techniques of haiga. In session one we will explore the elements of haiku through the use of haiga samples, practice writing our own haiku, and learn drawing techniques that help your eyes and hands work together as one. In session two, we will focus on how to create images that complement our haiku, and work to develop our own haiga through various prompts and exercises.
