When: Fri., May 22, 5 p.m. 2015
Adam Carolla, who you probably know as the cohost of The Man Show, gets behind the camera for this documentary about one of the manliest men of all — Paul Newman. The film explores the Academy Award-winning actor’s 35-year racing career, which nearly sidelined his acting endeavors. Newman won four national championships as a driver and eight championships as an owner. You can see him in action this Friday when the film plays at the Indiana State Museum IMAX. Carolla will be in attendance for the screening, which includes a pre-party in which he will do a little standup and reminisce on stage with Newman’s past team members and drivers. All proceeds will benefit Racing for Cancer (2012 IndyCar champion Ryan Hunter-Reay’s charity) and the Indy Family Fund.
