Veterans, families and the general public are all invited to the first annual World War I Weekend, the encampment will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 27 and 28 at Fort Harrison State Park. The World War I battle demonstration is Saturday August 27 at 2 p.m. A weapons talk will take place August 28 at 2 p.m. The World War I Weekend will feature WWI weapons, uniforms, and an open encampment for the public to visit. An indoor display will also be available inside the park office. There will be a battle re-enactment for the public at 2 p.m. August 27 behind Building 702 in the historic Camp Glenn District.
