Yarn Bombing

When: April 18-19, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 2015

Join Conner Prairie staff and volunteers and put your knitting and crocheting skills to good use as you yarn bomb a part of Conner Prairie! Don't know how to knit or crochet? We'll teach you what you need to know about historic (and modern) skills and various fibers. You’ll learn to create 4"x 8" rectangles that will be used to “wrap” one of the pillars in the Welcome Center. These yarn patches will stay in place through the following weekend as part of the Shear FUN weekend, April 25-26. Once the pieces are removed, they will be turned into lap blankets for a local hospice organization.

Price: Included with park admission
